Changelog#
All notable changes to the Wake app are listed here. The format follows Keep a Changelog. Versions are TestFlight builds (marketing version 0.9.0 plus the build number); the first entry is the v1.0 MVP milestone. Issue numbers link to GitHub Issues, and WAK numbers are kept from YouTrack.
[Unreleased]#
Added#
Docs: first feature pages (logging at the helm, voyage history, map, CloudKit sync).
[0.9.0 build 12] - 2026-10-10#
Added#
Speed and distance charts on the voyage detail screen, drawn from the recorded GPS track (WAK-35, #51).
Known issue: the charts section stays hidden until #56 is fixed (track points never store a speed).
[0.9.0 build 9] - 2026-10-09#
Added#
GPX track export from the voyage detail screen (WAK-29, #45).
Changed#
End Voyage automatically logs Engine Off and Sails Down first when the engine is still on or the sails are still up (WAK-39, #55).
Fixed#
The Start Voyage row now appears in the voyage history when the engine or sails start a voyage automatically (WAK-38, #54).
Distance no longer under-reads on slow legs, because the GPS gap rule is speed-aware and counts a gap only after more than 120 s or above an implied 30 kn (WAK-37, #53).
The first tap on a segmented control now registers on the iPhone; the system pickers were replaced by a custom WakeSegmentedControl.
[0.9.0 build 7] - 2026-10-02#
Added#
Map (Phase 4): live position and the active voyage track at the helm, and per-voyage track maps with event markers in the voyage history. Merged on 2026-06-29 as PR #15.
[1.0 MVP] - 2026-06-14#
Added#
One-tap event logging at the helm (engine on/off, voyage start/end, sails up/down, hold to confirm, works offline, GPS attached when available).
Voyage read-back (voyage list, event timeline, distance in nautical miles).
CloudKit sync across the user’s devices through iCloud, with no account.
TestFlight alpha (shipped as 0.9.0 build 1).
